For more than a decade, StarPointe Realty has been providing guidance to buyers, sellers and investors in the Central Texas Area. In addition to general real estate service, StarPointe Realty provides residential and commercial property management services to both seasoned and novice investors as well as homeowners ultimately wanting to sell but can’t due to market or financial issues. A full service brokerage company, StarPointe Realty opened its doors in 2008, and has expanded its footprint and service offerings every year since.
“When we began in 2008, StarPointe Realty primarily listed and marketed new homes built by a home building company where I served as managing partner,” says CJ Rogers, owner of StarPointe and StarPointe Realty Management. “In 2011, I started StarPointe Realty Central Texas and StarPointe Realty Management, which primarily served Bell, Coryell and Williamson Counties. Then in 2017, we opened StarPointe Realty Partners, our office in Cedar Park with Kendra Barger as partner, in order to better serve the Austin market.”
Currently, StarPointe has agents working from Lampasas to Temple to Austin to San Antonio. “To help facilitate our future expansion, we encourage our current agents as well as new members to the StarPointe family to aspire to the possibility of partnering in the ownership of their own brokerage in the same manner as Kendra Barger did not long ago,” Rogers says. “We want an environment where our agents can build wealth for themselves rather than simply make a living.”
In addition to recent expansion, StarPointe Realty has plans for additional growth within Austin as well as North to Waco. “We wanted our first office in our expansion plan to be on the far north side of the Austin market in order to better expand opportunities for our existing agents,” says Kendra Barger, co-owner and managing agent of StarPointe Realty Partners. “We plan to have offices in South and Central Austin by the end of 2018 and an office in Waco the following year.”
While the company continues to augment its range of real estate brokerage and management services, StarPointe plans to increase its efforts to be the one-stop real estate resource for a variety of clients, from first-time home buyers, to veteran purchasers, sellers and investment property owners. Additionally, StarPointe Realty offers customers tailored listing programs for home builders.
“The general real estate brokerage business is changing rapidly and companies need to adapt by offering a broader range of services and expertise or by choosing affiliates that provide the those additional services,” Rogers says. “Many companies have moved away from the high-touch personal service experience and seem to be focusing the majority of their resources into the technology side. While technology is very important, we cannot forget about the very personal nature of a real estate transaction and the homeownership experience. While many, if not most, home searches begin on the internet, we still find a majority of both buyers and sellers continuing to seek out personal relationships with agents they can relate to and trust as their personal advisers.”
Due to these trends, StarPointe Realty agents are focused on providing a personalized, one-on-one experience for their customers while utilizing the latest technology to provide what we consider to be the best of both worlds service. “In an age where most industries are shying away from the personal connection, we are bringing it back front and center,” Barger says.
