It’s no secret that the local housing market is booming. Demand has surpassed supply for a few years now and with people moving here in excess of 100 per day, experts have been saying for months that a slowdown is not expected anytime soon.
The HBA’s annual Mid-Year Housing Forecast is scheduled for July 19. But rather than give you more of the information you already know, this year’s program will focus on specific nuances in the market that will give you, the professional, invaluable insight that will set you apart from your peers when you are out there selling to potential clients. The program promises to give some valuable nuggets of information for all real estate professionals who attend. Whether you are a builder, vendor, REALTOR, title professional or other industry professional, you will walk away having learned something.
Vaike O’Grady, Austin regional director for Metrostudy, will moderate a panel that will discuss various audience segments, most notably Millennials and Baby Boomers. In 2019, Millennials will outnumber Baby Boomers. In Austin, they are already impacting our housing market. Learn what works – and what fails – when it comes to serving this emerging market.
