Located within a mile of downtown Dripping Springs, Caliterra is a new home community that opened in 2015. Nestled quietly along Onion Creek, Caliterra, which is being developed by Allegiant Realty Partners, plans to have over 600 homesites when completed.


“Caliterra’s location allows easy access to the day-to-day needs of the family and a base to everything Central Texas has to offer, says Scott Rogers, regional vice president in charge of Community Operations and Development for Caliterra. “We’re located just over 20 miles southwest of downtown Austin at the gateway to the Texas Hill Country. On a weekend, our residents could drive to Austin for a music festival on Saturday and then spend Sunday taking a stroll through the quaint small town of Fredericksburg.”

Caliterra residents can enjoy many amenities and features within the community, such as an on-site coffee shop, community pavilion, splash pad, playscape, pool complex and more. “This Fall, we will be opening a dog park for our furry residents and a firepit oasis,” Rogers says. “We also look forward to holding more community events, including farmers markets, 5k runs, car shows, and movies and concerts in the park.”

Even as new homes and amenities are built, Caliterra remains true to its commitment to preserving its natural beauty. Recently, Caliterra completed an additional 6,000 feet of new trails through the open space in the community, bringing the total to about three miles of real nature trails. Additionally, they have preserved over 250 acres of pristine Hill Country serve as the community backyard.
