Women’s Council membership provides you with skills and information to deal with a changing business environment. At Women’s Council, you’ll experience a great support system. You’ll belong to a network of 12,000 motivated, professional and high-achieving real estate professionals — women (and men) who understand that you’re never too experienced to learn something new or too successful to provide sound advice to your peers. Get involved today. What you put into it you will get back and more.
Do you have some great ideas for our end of the year events and for next year? Please feel free to reach out to myself or our incoming president, Aaron Lee, at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to your ideas and support. We are still looking for great individuals for committee positions open for the fall as well as some for 2020.
Women’s Council of Austin just finished our self-defense class taught by Deputy Brandon Schaefer of the Williamson County Sheriff’s Defense Academy. He is a 2017 United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee and did a fantastic job. As a REALTOR, it’s important you have a personal safety protocol in place that you use every day with every client. When meeting new clients, showing properties or sharing information online, it’s important to know what to do in case something bad happens. There are a variety of tools you can add to your personal safety protocol that can be found on the NAR website. We can never be too careful!
Our Women’s Council membership will elect our 2020 directors at the Sept. 26, meeting at Maggiano’s Little Italy in the Domain. Plus, we will host a panel of several local city mayors. Please join us for lunch while the mayors update us on what is happening in their cities. Save the date, so you don’t miss this event. A registration announcement will be emailed out soon, or you can email me at email@example.com for details.
Be sure to mark your calendar now for Women’s Council of REALTORS Austin Installation of our 2020 board of directors, Saturday, Dec. 7. This year will be a very different event than any in the past and more details will be coming soon.
