Now is an exciting time to be a member of WCREALTORS. For all of those who are already members of our association, we’re excited to have you as part of our WC family. The association has been working diligently on bringing our members the most return for their yearly dues and fulfilling the vision of growing successful REALTORS and leaders within the Williamson County community.

This year, we’ve hosted three bus tours. The most recent being the Luxury Bus Tour where participants toured three multimillion-dollar properties in Williamson County, networked with high-end builders and partnered with the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin for special entry into this year’s Parade of Homes.
New classes are being brought to the association all the time. We strive to aim at making our members profitable, competitive and knowledgeable about the real estate market. If you haven’t done so recently, please check out the association’s calendar on our website www.wcrealtors.org/calendar to see what is coming down the pipeline for education. Your license doesn’t have to be up for renewal for you to take classes; a successful REALTOR is always trying to better themselves.
WCREALTORS couldn’t accomplish everything we do without our volunteers and staff members. From the board of directors to our committee chairs, and our committee members, many of the ideas, events and seminars the association hosts are member-driven. If you have ever wanted to be involved, now is the time to join a committee and let your voice be heard.

Just a few weeks ago at our annual meeting, the membership voted for the officers and directors for the 2019 year. The 2019 leadership team will be:

  • President, Cyndi Bell of Realty Texas, Cedar Park
  • President-Elect, Kriston Wood of Keller Williams Realty, Georgetown
  • Treasurer, Julie Floyd of Latiqo & Stone, LLC
  • Secretary, Michele Sherwood of Keller Williams Realty, Round Rock
  • Past-President, Victoria Reviel of 98th Meridian
  • Director, Joseph Aubin of J. Paul Aubin Real Estate
  • Director, Kim Dale of Realty Texas
  • Director, Al Frazier of Nextage Lone Star Realty
  • Director, CJ Pfau of Pfau & Company
  • Director, Chris Rodriguez of Realty Texas

These individuals have volunteered their time, energy and talents to serve the 2,000 members of the Williamson County Association of REALTORS and will continue leading WCREALTORS as the voice of real estate for Williamson County. These individuals will be installed on Dec. 6 at our annual Installation and Awards Banquet. Here we honor those that have dedicated time to the association, install the new board of directors and present the industry awards. Tickets are now on sale for only $65. This year’s theme: “Mission: Possible.”

At the annual meeting, we presented the accomplishments of WCREALTORS and everything the association does to help our members succeed. We know that you have a choice in the association you chose to belong to; if you do business in Williamson County, and you are not a member of WCREALTORS, you are missing out. Give the membership staff a call at (512) 255-6211 to learn more about joining our association; there’s a reason we’ve doubled in size over the past 10 years.
Wishing you and your loved ones a very happy Thanksgiving. RL
